This super cool R7 is a faithful recreation of the outstanding Gold Top guitars Gibson produced in the 50's. Featuring historic appointments such as one-piece mahogany neck & body construction, as well as a period-accurate formula for the Gold finish, this guitar takes all of the features that made the original '57 legendary & uses them to recreate a truly convincing vintage playing experience. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Beefy, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid, one-piece mahogany body with maple top finished in gold & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Pickguard is missing & the guitar weighs 9 lbs 2.7 oz.
Electronics: Gibson BurstBuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Newer Gibson hardshell case included. There is no COA.
