Gibson Custom Shop's 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a faithful recreation of the originals' specs, complete with blistering pickups, authentic in-hand feel, and a light, tasteful relic job. This '58 reissue features a "Chunky C-Shape" neck profile, for an authentic fretting-hand feel. This is furthered by its Indian Rosewood, hide glue fitted fingerboard and Historic Gibson Narrow/Tall frets. This LP's Custombucker Alnico III pickups do a fantastic job of recreating the original '50s humbucking tone that made the Les Paul a household name. And with a gorgeous Lemon Burst Nitrocellulose VOS finish, its Vintage Patina is on full display. With all the hallmarks of a classic Les Paul, this Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard is as close as you can get to the original.
