A magnificent recreation of one of the giants in the history of Gibson guitars - the '59 Les Paul Standard. This stunning Lefty model features a beautiful flame top finished in a gorgeous Vintage Lemon. All the hallmarks of this vintage reissue are present, right down to the beefy mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & a pair of superb sounding PAF humbuckers, delivering rich, muscular tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall - various little nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but pretty clean for the most part.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots on both sides of the neck. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound, flame maple top in amber finish. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard is included, but the guitar was not drilled for it so we didn't install it. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.1 oz.
Electronics: Gibson PAF humbuckers with cream bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with hang tags. Unfortunately the COA is missing.
