This fabulous Custom Shop '59 was Made to Measure by the previous owner with a Jimmy Page #1 profile neck & given a Heavy Aging treatment in the Murphy Lab. There's some beautiful flame figuring in the top underneath a lovely Orange Sunset Fade finish. Fully inspected & professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to hit the stage straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" in the Murphy Lab to give it that well-worn, "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking, finish wear & aged hardware.
Neck: Jimmy Page #1 profile mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. .830" at the 1st fret & .870" at the 12th fret. 12" radius Indian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with figured maple top in Orange Sunset Fade finish. All hide glue construction. Lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs a delightful 8 lbs 11.2 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Gibson CustomBucker humbuckers with cream bezels. Nickel cover on the neck & exposed double-black in the bridge. Neck - 7.70K ohms; Bridge - 7.93K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & "bumble bee" caps. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included - also distressed at the factory. Original hang tags included along with COA.
