A magnificent recreation of one of the giants in the history of Gibson guitars - the '59 Les Paul Standard. This stunning LPR-9 features a gorgeous flame top finished in an ultra cool Faded Tobacco sunburst. All the hallmarks of this vintage reissue are present, right down to the beefy mahogany neck & pair of superb sounding humbuckers, delivering rich, muscular tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with various surface scratches, a few minor dents & dings & some tarnish on the hardware.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. A portion of the cherry finish from the neck has bled into the binding giving it more of a pinkish color. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound, flame maple top finished in Faded Tobacco Sunburst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 9.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson CustomBuckers with cream bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. "Bumble Bee" caps & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & hang tags.
