The Historic Reissue ES-335 is back and better than ever thanks to a year of studying, scanning, and listening to original examples. The expert craftspeople at Gibson Custom Shop have rendered every contour, profile, inlay and color of the priceless vintage models in magnificent detail. The result is a playing and ownership experience that will keep you coming back for more. The 1964 Reissue model utilizes sharp horn cutaways, medium C-shape neck profiles scanned from originals, small block inlays and vintage-replica parts. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with some mild play wear - various surface scratches along with dents & dings throughout. There's a pretty good sized dent in the back of the neck around the third fret.
Neck: C-shape mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with double-ring Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & the guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.1 oz.
Electronics: Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers with black bezels & nicke covers. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. 3-way toggle switch & paper-in-oil capacitors. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA.
