Considered by many to be the pinnacle of Gibson's ES line, the ES-336 is the perfect marriage of the 335 & Les Paul. The back, sides & center block are carved from a single piece of solid mahogany, affording outstanding resonance, while the top is carved from solid maple, which blends beautifully with the mahogany construction. The resulting tone is warm & resonant, with just the right amount of attack & brilliant sustain. The thinline body is only 14 inches wide & weighs under 7 lbs, making it perfect for long nights of playing. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches throughout, but otherwise great shape overall.
Neck: Slim taper mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow body with dual F-holes. Solid mahogany back, sides & center block. Solid carved maple top in tobacco sunburst finish with some lovely flame figuring. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. 5-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.6 oz.
Electronics: Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Gibson hardshell case included. There is no COA.
