Description
A truly special & rare flat top acoustic that reflects Gibson's place in music history. Originally built from 1934-1942, this gorgeous Roy Smeck Prototype is one of a very limited number created to bring back that magic of the early models. Constructed by the talented luthiers in Bozeman, MT in 2007, it features a solid spruce top paired with solid rosewood for the back & sides. The wide profile mahogany neck displays some nice flame figuring & is very comfortable to play anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
