Description
The Hummingbird Special features a traditional square-shouldered body with solid mahogany for the back & sides & a solid Sitka spruce top that is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing. This combination of tone woods delivers a warm, balanced sound with excellent dynamic range that is perfect for any style of music. The "concert depth" body is slightly thinner than the body of a Hummingbird Standard, giving it a leaner & tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix & also makes it easier to hold. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
