The Hummingbird has become more versatile & expressive than ever with the introduction of the Standard Rosewood EC. The rosewood body paired with the Sitka spruce top adds a bit more bass & harmonic complexity to the legendary Hummingbird tonal recipe. With the addition of the cutaway, the access to the upper frets is significantly increased, making it a great choice for lead players & others who require increased note range & enhanced expressiveness. The mahogany neck has a comfortable Round SlimTaper profile & is equipped with L.R. Baggs VTC electronics, so it's ready to plug in on stage or in the studio from the moment you take it out of the included hardshell case. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific.
Cosmetic Condition: Various mild surface scratches & some finish disturbance up on the headstock caused by a capo being left on too long. Overall the guitar is in great shape though.
Neck: Round Slim Taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners with 1.725" nut width & 24.75" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with cutaway. Solid sitka spruce top finished in Rosewood Burst. Tortoise pickguard with hummingbird motif. Rosewood bridge with compensated saddle. Solid rosewood back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 15.3 oz.
Electronics: L.R. Baggs VTC pickup with soundhole-mounted volume & tone controls.
