Here we have a used Gibson J-45 Custom dreadnought in excellent condition. This particular one sounds beautiful and is a great chance to own one that has been exceptionally well-cared for! What makes the J-45 Custom so special is the combining of vintage appointments with several modern features including a refined finish and floral abalone and mother of pearl inlays. The sound this one offers is warm, full-bodied and surprisingly mature sounding considering the guitar is not very old.
Condition: This guitar is in truly excellent shape! There are some very faint pick scratches on the pickguard and only a few tiny and faint surface scratches throughout the guitar. The neck is perfectly straight, the frets are pristine and all electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with a solid Sitka Spruce top in vintage sunburst finish and pattern-grade rosewood back and sides. Rosewood bridge with lovely abalone inlays, tortoise pickguard and an abalone/multi-ring rosette.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Abalone inlays and a 1.725” nut. Gorgeous mother of pearl/abalone headstock inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuners and a 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickup System: L.R. Baggs Element pickup system with volume and tone controls.
