A small-body acoustic with the full Gibson sound - developed in the 30's, the L-00 was an industry standard for many years. This gorgeous guitar beautifully captures the heritage of those exemplary early models. With perfect balance, the L-00 has unparalleled projection not found in comparable small body guitars. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches along with some very minor dents & dings, but still in really great shape & quite clean for the most part.
Neck: Mahogany neck with white side-dots. 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Open-back strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound with solid Sitka spruce top & solid mahogany back & sides in Ebony finish. Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Tortoise pickguard & 3-ring rosette. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 11 oz.
Electronics: LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup with Volume & Tone controls in the soundhole. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
