An exquisite '61 Reissue featuring a one-piece body that shows off some pretty swirl figuring. The guitar was just recently acquired from a former Gibson employee who picked out the one-piece body. The neck is super comfy & plays perfectly anywhere on the fretboard. The double humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver robust, muscular tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for being nearly 30 years old - various tiny dents & dings along with surface scratches, but quite clean overall.
Neck: Wide, flat profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: One-piece, contoured, solid mahogany body with 5-ply small black pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.1 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with PAF stickers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
