The SG Special hearkens back to the original design that made it one of Gibson's most beloved guitars. Its early-sixties style has all the hallmarks of an original SG Special, with a Slim Taper neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard, and two P-90 pickups. These pickups really shine thanks to hand-wiring and the use of Orange Drop Capacitors. You get all the tonal versatility you'd expect from a classic set of P-90s, with snarling overdriven tone and smooth cleans. Plus, the Vintage Sparkling Burgundy finish looks especially great and at-home on this particular SG. If you're after a sixties-style SG Special, then look no further.
