Description
Here we have a used Gibson SJ-200 Standard acoustic guitar in phenomenal shape! This guitar has a very rich and full sound that projects beautifully from its jumbo body. This particular one features a beautiful natural finish with stunning curly maple back and sides. The SJ-200 Standard has all of the original appointments that made this model such a hit when it made its initial appearance in 1937 down to the moustache bridge and tortoise pickguard with flowers and dots. This guitar sounds every bit as good as it looks and has been very well-cared for!
Condition: This guitar is in truly excellent condition! There are a few tiny and faint surface scratches throughout the guitar which require a close-up view in perfect lighting to even be somewhat visible. The neck is perfectly straight, the frets are pristine and all of the electronics and parts are in perfect working condition!
Body: Double-bound body with a solid Sitka Spruce top and Eastern curly maple back and sides in antique natural finish. Rosewood bridge with mother of pearl bar moustache and a Tusq saddle. Tortoise pickguard with flowers and dots and a multi-ring rosette.
Neck: Nicely rounded curly maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Mother of pearl inlays and a 1.725” nut. Bound headstock with Grover Rotomatic tuners, 25 ½” scale length.
Pickup System: Fishman Ellipse Aura pickup system.
