Description
The new Gibson Victory was created in response to player requests for the return of this 80s-era cult favorite. Crafted for limitless self-expression, it carries the DNA of the original versions with enhanced features such as refined body contours, improved weight & balance, and an Explorer headstock. The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbuckers wired to push/pull master volume & tone controls for coil splitting & inner/outer coil selection when the coils are split, which, along with the three-way pickup selector switch, deliver a wide range of humbucking & single coil tonal options with a minimum number of controls. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: There's a small rectangular shaped dent on the back of the neck, bass-side, 12th fret. Aside from that the guitar is in great shape & still has the plastic wrap over the pickguard!
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Compound radius ebony fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays. 24 medium jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Explorer style headstock with Grover mini Rotomatic tuners. 1.7" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body finished in TV Yellow Satin. Aluminum Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & chrome jackplate. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 15.1 oz.
Electronics: Two 80s Tribute humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume (with push/pull coil split) & tone (with push/pull inner/outer coil select) controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with accessories.
