Description
An early, pre-Fender Anniversary that was customized by the previous owner & featuring a pair of HiloTron single coils. Great shape overall & a really fun guitar to play.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty nice shape considering it's over 20 years old with some mild surface scratches & a tiny bit of finish chipping along the neck around the first couple of frets.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Anniversary plaque on the front of the headstock & diecast tuners with "G" Arrow logo. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. "G" Cutout tailpiece with Space Control bridge on a floating base & silver plexi pickguard. A black plastic arm rest was added to the top of the guitar. Three sections of the guitar were routed out in the back to gain easier access to the electronics. Two have black control plates covering them & the other, branded Gretsch, is underneath the black vinyl back pad. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.5 oz.
Electronics: Two HiloTron single coils with silver bezels. 3-way pickup & tone selector switches. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls all with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
