An early version, pre-Chet model featuring tons of gorgeous flame figuring under a classic orange finish. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for being 20 years old with only mild surface scratches & light tarnish on the gold hardware.
Neck: Soft V-shaped maple neck with some light flame figuring. White binding with red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with flame maple overlay & Grover Rotomatic tuners. Mother of pearl Gretsch & horseshoe inlays. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow maple body with lots of stunning flame figuring. 3-ply binding on the top & back with bound F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge on a rosewood base. Gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. 3-way pickup & tone selector switches. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & Gretsch paperwork.
