Designed in close conjunction with Paul Yandell, Chet Atkins' rhythm guitarist, the G6122-1959 Country Gentleman precisely replicates the world's most famous '59 6122 model. Features include custom handmade pickups by TV Jones, a slightly wider neck, Bigsby B6GWST vibrato tailpiece with stationary arm. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches & some tarnish on the gold hardware, but overall the guitar is in great shape.
Neck: Maple neck with white binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with Neo Classic thumbnail inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with Grover Imperial tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Chambered maple body with some gorgeous flame figuring & simulated F-holes. Single cutaway with bound top & back. Bigsby B6GW vibrato tailpiece with stationary wire arm. Rocking Bar bridge on a floating ebony base. Gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.5 oz.
Electronics: TV Jones Super-Tron Classic (neck); TV Jones Plus Ht (bridge). Master volume, master tone & bridge volume with "G" Arrow knobs; 3-way pickup toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There is no COA.
