Classic styling & a sleek look make the '57 Duo Jet one of the most popular models in the Gretsch line. This one features a pair of after-market TV Jones humbuckers specifically designed to fit perfectly in the smaller DynaSonic footprint. Professionally set up & ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with signs of some play wear - various nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but pretty good shape overall.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl hump-block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with unoriginal Schaller GrandTune tuners. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Semi-hollow mahogany body with laminated maple cap & top binding. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge & unoriginal black plexi pickguard. The original silver guard is included. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.1 oz.
Electronics: TV Jones humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. The original DynaSonics are not included. Master volume & tone controls; individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with Gretsch guitar guide. There is no COA.
