To recreate Young's earliest days with the instrument, the "Beast" comes equipped with TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Tron bridge & neck pickups that replicate the unmistakable vintage Gretsch voicing, along with an added TV Jones Starwood humbucker in the middle for clear & punchy tone. Built to rattle foundations in true Malcolm fashion, it also features a lightly aged finish, 12" radius bound ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets (plus zero fret), aged pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, bone nut, harmonica-style Adjusto-Matic bridge with pinned ebony base, '60s Jet vibrato tailpiece, Schaller die-cast tuners, black pickguard, G-arrow control knobs & aged gold hardware. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches & some minor dents & dings, but really nice shape overall.
Neck: Standard "U" mahogany neck with cream binding & red side-dots. 12" radius ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. 22 jumbo frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with Schaller tuners. 1.6875" nut width with zero fret; 24.6" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, chambered mahogany body with arched maple top & 3-ply binding. Gretsch '60s Jet Vibrato tailpiece with Harmonica style Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned ebony base. There is no trem arm as this model did not come with one. Black plexi pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 12.3 oz.
Electronics: TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity (neck & bridge) with TV Jones Starwood humbucker (middle). Volume 1. (Neck Pickup), Volume 2. (Bridge Pickup), Volume 3. (Middle Pickup), Master Volume all with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup selector, 3-way tone selector & 3-way standby switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & original paperwork.
