This is the new extremely cool Limited Edition "FSR" Gretsch G6136T Falcon model in the "Creme De Marine" Finish.This finish is a bit like Fender's "Sonic Blue" but is a little lighter. It's an extremely cool finish that looks amazing in person. A total of 80 of these guitars will be made for worldwide distribution. Very few Pro series falcons in alternate finishes have been made making this a truly rare guitar! This is top of the line pro series Gretsch material and it does not disappoint in looks or sound. The FilterTron's are phenomenal pickups that achieve authentic Gretsch character, aka “That Great Gretsch Sound”. They have a warm woody tone with great note definition, big round bass response and very clean and articulate high end. The Falcon features a jumbo 17” body fully bound with gold sparkle. Even the F-Holes are double bound with gold sparkle. The neck profile is a sleek medium oval that has a great feel to it without being to thick or thin. The G6146T comes with 1959 Trestle bracing which adds sustain and increased feedback rejection while letting the guitar still retain a classic hollow body sound. This is a brand new factory first guitar and comes with the deluxe Gretsch hard case, all documentation and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty. This G6136T Falcon FSR is in mint condition and was manufactured in 2014. It is very clean and the only signs of use are very light play wear.
