Made towards the end of Guild's legacy in Westerly, RI, this gorgeous A25 model is a super fun guitar to play. Featuring a spruce top with mahogany back & sides and a body size that's just perfect for fingerstyle or folk playing. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches throughout. There's a pretty good sized chip out of the back of the bass-side of the headstock & fairly deep scratch in the treble side of the body, lower bout.
Neck: Mahogany neck with micro side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl snowflake inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Gold vintage-style tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound folk size body in natural high gloss finish. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with straight saddle & cream end pins. Solid mahogany back & sides. 15" lower bout width; 11" upper bout width; 4" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs a delightful 3 lbs 9.2 oz.
