A wonderful sounding Guild dreadnought made in Westerly, RI & featuring all solid tone woods. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds great.
Cosmetic Condition: It appears the body binding may have shrunk or come undone at some point & needed to be reglued. There's a tiny gap in the binding just below the neck heel. The binding is firmly secured & quite stable. Overall the guitar is very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays with gold Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought in natural, high gloss finish. Solid spruce top with abalone rosette & large black pickguard. Ebony bridge with cream bridge pins. Solid rosewood back & sides with herringbone center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.9 oz.
