The unique F-47M is one of the more versatile instruments available to players today, utilizing the classic grand orchestra body shape but with extra body depth resulting in an unusually big, balanced tone with superb projection. The solid spruce top and flamed maple body produces a clear, articulate sound with excellent note separation. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Nice condition overall - various surface scratches along with some minor dents & dings.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Gotoh open-back tuners with Butterbean buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double bound Grand Orchestra size body in Natural finish. Solid spruce top with multi-ring rosette. The original pickguard was removed by the previous owner & a ghosting image is left behind. Rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle & cream bridge pins. Solid flame maple back & sides with checkered center strip. The flame figuring is absolutely stunning & really makes the guitar pop! Guitar weighs 4 lbs 13.8 oz.
