The Heritage Custom Shop H-137 Core Collection Artisan Aged in Olive Drab is a guitar that captures the essence of vintage electric design while showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that defines Heritage. Built in Kalamazoo by skilled American luthiers, the H-137 blends timeless simplicity with professional-grade performance, making it equally suited for collectors, working musicians, and tone purists.
Its ultra-lightweight genuine mahogany body is resonant and comfortable, paired with an artisan-aged nitrocellulose finish that gives the guitar a naturally worn look and feel. The finish work strikes a perfect balance-it looks like a well-loved vintage piece, yet feels immediately inviting in your hands. The '50s C-shaped neck profile carved from solid mahogany is substantial without being bulky, offering a classic grip that feels broken-in right from the first chord.
Tonally, the H-137 thrives thanks to its 225 Classic P90 pickups, carefully wound in-house by Heritage. These single-coils deliver an impressively wide spectrum-from glassy cleans with tight articulation to thick, raw overdrive tones full of character. Paired with CTS pots, Vishay capacitors, a Switchcraft toggle, and Pure Tone jack, the electronics ensure roadworthy reliability and a nuanced tonal response you can depend on night after night.
Playability is effortless, thanks to a 12" rosewood fingerboard radius with 22 Jescar medium jumbo frets, giving you a smooth bend-friendly surface that remains comfortable for rhythm and lead work alike. The Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece add sustain and clarity, while Heritage-branded tuners etched with their logo keep everything locked in with vintage flair.
