The Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-555 is a semi-hollow masterpiece, blending refined aesthetics, premium materials, and world-class craftsmanship. Hand-built in Kalamazoo at 225 Parsons Street, this guitar takes its inspiration from legendary designs while offering modern precision and playability.
Crafted with laminated ultra-figured curly maple on the top and back, paired with solid curly maple sides, the H-555 delivers a harmonic-rich, articulate tone with exceptional sustain. A comfortable '50s C-shaped mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard ensures a smooth playing experience, while multi-ply binding and block inlays add a touch of timeless elegance.
At the heart of its bold, dynamic voice are Heritage Custom Shop 225 Hot Classic Humbuckers, hand-wound in-house to produce rich harmonics, punchy mids, and excellent clarity, whether you're playing warm cleans or searing overdrive. Paired with premium CTS potentiometers, Orange Drop capacitors, and a Switchcraft toggle, this guitar offers a responsive and nuanced tone.
Further enhancing sustain and tuning stability is a Tune-O-Matic bridge with an aluminum stopbar tailpiece, while gold hardware and a bound headstock with a Heritage kite inlay elevate the instrument's premium feel.
The nitrocellulose vintage gloss finish in Ebony ensures a beautiful aging process, while the Artisan Aged treatment provides an authentically worn-in look for players who love vintage character.
The Core Collection H-555 comes protected in a Heritage Custom Shop hardshell case, making it an heirloom-quality instrument built to inspire for generations.
