The Heritage Standard Collection II H-150 in Bourbon Burst is a USA-made solidbody that pays tribute to the iconic builds that came out of 225 Parsons Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It's ideal for serious players who want the familiar singlecut feel, with thoughtful updates that don't mess with the formula. The refined finishes and subtle aesthetic upgrades give it a classy, stage-ready look without straying from its roots.
Under the hood, you're getting a carved curly maple top and a weight-relieved mahogany body that keeps the classic tonal depth, but shaves off just enough heft to keep it comfortable during longer sets. The Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard humbuckers are voiced in-house for clarity and power; they've got a tight low end, smooth highs, and some real bark when you push them. The push/pull series-parallel switching is a smart touch; it adds brighter, almost single-coil-like tones without the usual volume drop you get with coil taps.
The '60s C neck carve is slim, but not too thin. Feels broken-in and ready to go from the jump. Jescar medium jumbo frets and a 12" radius make bending easy and clean all the way up the neck. Hardware is solid and reliable, and the included Heritage Premium case seals the deal. We really like this one for players who want a vintage-leaning guitar with modern flexibility and pro-level fit and finish.
