Description
An excellent player's grade Vice President featuring a solid, hand-carved German spruce top fitted with a pair of Hofner humbuckers. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: There are various cracks in the top & sides along with a chip in the bass-side F-hole. The sunburst finish has a bit of cloudiness to it & there are surface scratches throughout along with some nicks, dents & dings.
Neck: Maple neck with aged binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with Schaller diecast tuners. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow body with dual F-holes. Solid spruce top with trapeze tailpiece & floating ebony bridge. Flame maple back & sides. The label inside the body is missing & the guitar weighs 6 lbs 7.6 oz.
Electronics: Hofner "diamond" humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with unoriginal master volume, all with unoriginal gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The bottom clasp broke off, but is included with the guitar.
