Description
The 2014 Ibanez SRKP4 in Black is built around a simple idea; take a standard Soundgear bass platform and integrate a real-time effects controller directly into the instrument. At its core, it's a lightweight, fast-playing SR with a mahogany body, slim maple neck, and a single humbucker layout. The difference is the onboard Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2, which turns the bass into an interactive effects tool rather than just a straight signal instrument.
The Kaoss Pad is fully functional and docked into the body, offering touch-controlled effects including filters, delays, slicers, and looping. Signal runs from the pickup through an onboard distortion circuit and into the Kaoss system, with the ability to bypass as needed. It plays as expected and all onboard electronics are working properly. The bass has been professionally inspected and set up, and the kaoss pad/distortion circuit has been thoroughly tested and works as expected.
Cosmetic Condition:
Clean overall with light signs of use. Minor surface wear consistent with handling.
Neck:
Maple neck with a slim Soundgear profile and 34" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets showing minimal playwear. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Mahogany body in black finish. Lightweight SR design with comfortable contours. Accu-cast B10 bridge.
Electronics:
IBZ-KP humbucker with onboard distortion circuit (gain and tone controls). Integrated Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2 with touchpad control, multiple onboard effects, and bypass function. Electronics are functioning properly.
Case:
No case included. Batteries(2x AA sized) for Kaoss Pad not included.
