Description

The Jackson X Series Soloist SLATXSDQ3-7 is a purpose-built seven-string designed for modern metal players who demand speed, clarity, and rock-solid stability. Finished in an eye-catching Transparent Purple over a quilt maple top, this Soloist combines aggressive styling with high-performance construction. The neck-through-body design enhances sustain and upper fret access, while the Floyd Rose Special 7-string double-locking tremolo provides reliable tuning stability whether you're dive bombing or adding subtle vibrato. Paired with a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts humbuckers, this guitar delivers powerful, tight low-end response and articulate highs that stay clear even under high gain.

In hand, the guitar feels fast and precise thanks to the compound-radius rosewood fingerboard that transitions from 12" to 16", making it equally comfortable for riffing and technical lead work. The 26.5" scale length keeps the extended low range tight and defined, and the jumbo frets make bending and fast passages effortless. Our team has thoroughly inspected and set up the instrument to ensure smooth playability and dependable performance, making it a great option for players looking to step into extended-range territory with confidence.

Cosmetic Condition:
This guitar is in clean used condition with light signs of normal handling consistent with it's age. There is one thing of note- the left bridge post was doweled and redrilled. The post has not been moved or replaced, so it's unclear why the original owner had this performed, but the trem works flawlessly.

Neck:
1-piece maple neck-through-body construction with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint. Rosewood fingerboard with 12"-16" compound radius and pearloid piranha tooth inlays. 24 jumbo frets with minimal playwear. 26.5" scale length and Floyd Rose locking nut with 1.685" width. Jackson sealed die-cast tuners and Jackson AT-1 4x3 headstock. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.

Body:
Mahogany body with a quilt maple top in Transparent Purple gloss finish. Soloist body shape contours and upper fret access. Black hardware throughout and a recessed Floyd Rose Special 7-string double-locking tremolo bridge.

Electronics:
Equipped with direct-mounted Seymour Duncan Blackouts 7-string humbuckers (AHB-1N neck and AHB-1B bridge). Controls include master volume, master tone, and a 3-way toggle switch for neck, neck and bridge, or bridge pickup selection. Electronics function properly.

Case:
Non-Original Gig Bag included. Includes Trem Arm.
