Description
This is a used visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde Ultimate Overdrive pedal. This pedal combines an 808-style overdrive circuit with a heavier distortion circuit and enable the player to play one channel at a time or both together. A couple of cool features are a bass bost on the overdrive side and a sharp/blunt switch on the distortion side. The bass boost really helps you match the guitar to the pedal. It is great for warming up single coil guitars or adding some thickness to the sound. The sharp/blunt switch gives you either a very bright and intense distortion sound or a more compressed sound. What’s cool is that this is the earlier version of the pedal so it features the older style metal housing. When this pedal was first introduced, it was the first to offer both an overdrive and distortion pedal in the same box.
Condition: Very good shape overall. Cosmetically there are scratches and chips throughout the metal enclosure. All electronics are in perfect working condition. There is Velcro along the bottom so it is pedalboard ready and the door for the battery compartment is missing.
