Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a well-rounded bass with excellent range and a great natural look to boot. Between the pickups, active preamp circuit, and extensive controls, this bass has an absolute ton of range in terms of tone. It can do low-end thump, mid-range punch, and high and tight easily with a simple dialing in of the intuitive controls. The body is nice and light and shows fantastic ash figuring throughout. Even with a bit more width, the neck still plays easily from the nut to the cutaway and boasts a comfortable shape that suits it throughout its length.
Condition: This bass is in excellent condition overall. It only shows a few small dings, dents, and light scratches, but otherwise is in fantastic shape for a used bass. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Contoured ash body in Natural finish. Chrome Lakland dual-access adjustable bridge. Black tapered control knobs with white line indicators.
Neck: Flat-sawn wide D shape maple neck and 10-13” compound radius rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. 1.81” nut width (to 3.3” at final fret). Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines.
Electronics: Lakland MM-J configured pickups and LH3 preamp with 1 x bass, 1 x mid-range, 1 x treble, and 1 x pickup blend control. 1 x master volume (with a pull for preamp bypass). 3-way bridge pickup coil-tap switch.

Playability/Sound: Even with a wider 5-string neck, this bass plays beautifully from the nut to the cutaway. Between the pickup configuration, preamp, pickups, and extensive controls, this bass is able to cover a wide range of tones from low and boomy to punchy and even bright and crisp.
