Description
Condition: This is a great playing guitar in good overall shape. There are various surface scratches and a few small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. There is some very light “pitting” in the finish in some areas but this is very minor. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in excellent working condition. Based on a small tag we found in the case, this guitar may be from the mid 90s and be a NAMM show sample prototype. We cannot however verify the authenticity or provenance of this information.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway body in a metallic red finish. Vibrato bridge with six individual saddles and a vibrato arm, knurled control knobs and a single-ply black pickguard. Black back cover plates for the vibrato system and electronics cavity.
Neck: Slender bolt-on maple neck with ebony fingerboard, small pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Locking sperzel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Levinson single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, master tone control, 5-way selector switch, and a 3-way mini toggle switch for the active EQ system with three trim pots for middle, treble and bass.

Playability/Sound: This is a very versatile guitar with nice sounding pickups and a very useable active EQ. The trim pots have multiple settings and come with a guide sheet for different sounds. This enables the player to get a huge range of sound from multiple pickup positions and settings. The slender neck is very comfortable and suitable for fast, smooth playing.
