Description
Made for only a brief period between 1997 & 2000, this rare & unique model is the joint creation of Martin Guitar Co. & desiger Thomas Humphrey. Featuring a solid cedar top with laminated rosewood back & sides, all in a satin finish. A fine player with a lovely tone & professionally set up so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, dents & dings throughout along with surface scratches & general mild play wear. Overal the guitar looks nice & has a great vibe to it.
Neck: Wide profile, classical-style mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream side-dots. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Classical tuners with amber pearloid buttons. 2" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, classical style body in natural satin finish. Solid cedar top with rosewood bridge. The bridge was pulling up when we acquired the guitar, so our luthier professionally reglued it. No pickguard & traditional classical rosette. Laminated rosewood back & sides. 15" lower bout width; 11 1/2" upper bout width; 4 1/2" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 11.9 oz.
