Description
A gorgeous sounding D-18 with a rich, robust voice that projects exceptionally well. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds wonderful.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but pretty good shape overall. The body binding needed to be reglued in a few spots & there's a bit of glue residue left behind in those areas, but it's not too bad.
Neck: Mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Martin open-gear tuners with Butterbean buttons. 1 3/4" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in high-gloss natural finish with tortoise top & back binding. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Solid mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 1.4 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
