Description
The D-18 Modern Deluxe is a modernized take on vintage Martin guitars. Its tone is truly something to behold, thanks to authentic vintage appointments that include a Sitka Spruce VTS (Vintage Tone System) top, a dovetail neck joint, and protein glue construction for lively, resonant tone. The genuine mahogany back/sides lay the perfect tonal foundation for the Sitka Spruce VTS top, so you get crisp highs, powerful lows, and well-defined mids, making the D-18 Modern Deluxe an exceptional player for a variety of acoustic styles. And with gold frets, East Indian rosewood binding, gold open gear tuners, and a pearl 1930s-style script headstock logo, this guitar has a gorgeous, unique look to it. It also has a range of modern features that make this D-18 play remarkably well, such as Liquidmetal bridge pins and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate. The most significant modern feature of this guitar, however, is the new asymmetrical Vintage Deluxe neck shape, which provides maximum comfort throughout the fretboard. If you're looking for the perfect combination of vintage Martin tone and modern playability and feel, then the D-18 Modern Deluxe is the right choice.
