In respect and appreciation of the tonewoods that have produced the quality and tradition of superior acoustic guitars, Martin is using sustainable woods in the GPCPA Mahogany. Built with a solid FSC Certified European spruce top and FSC Certified solid mahogany back and sides, this green machine is as nice to the environment as it is to your ears. Its body is surprisingly light yet has the rich, full resonance that Martins are known for. The back and sides are finished with polished gloss with a red aging toner. Equipped with a cutaway and the addition of Fishman F1 Aura electronics, this eco-friendly guitar is stage and road ready.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with some mild play wear - various minor dents & dings; scratches & some finish blemishes.
Neck: Performing Artist Profile mahogany neck with ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Richlite fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Martin gold diecast tuners. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid Certified European Spruce soundboard with hybrid scalloped bracing. Richlite bridge with compensated saddle. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Certified Mahogany back and sides. Ivoroid bound top & back. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 8.3 oz.
Electronics: Fishman F1 Aura. Integrated battery box located between the strap button and jack allows for instantaneous changing of batteries/accessibility.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
