A marvelous limited production guitar, this Eric Johnson Signature Edition is number 65 of 90. This magnificent guitar was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with custom planetary inlays. Frets are clean with practically no wear. Bound headstock with ebony veneer & mother of pearl angel inlay. Waverly Butterbean tuners & diamond volute. 1 3/4" width bone nut; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound with Venetian cutaway. Solid Engelmann spruce top finished in a cream color with blue purfling. Black pickguard & abalone rosette. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with intricate center strip. 16" lower bout width. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 5.4 oz.
