Just recently acquired from the original owner! Made for only a brief moment from around 2006-2009, this rare Richie Sambora Signature model features Madagascar rosewood for the back & sides with style 41 & 45 appointments. Along with a 12-string companion model, a total of 200 were planned to be produced with this particular guitar being number 153 in the series. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but certainly not abused with signs of some play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches. Overall the guitar is in good shape & has a really cool look to it.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl/abalone hexagon inlays & Richie Sambora signature in the 20th fret. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear. Unique mother of pearl/abalone headstock inlay & Martin gold diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound Orchestra Model with cutaway. Solid spruce top in sunburst finish with abalone purfling. Abalone rosette with black pickguard. Ebony "pyramid" bridge with compensated saddle. Cream bridge pins with abalone dot inlays. Solid Madagascar rosewood back & sides with herringbone center strip. Guitar weighs a delightful 4 lbs 9.9 oz.
Electronics: Active, under-saddle pickup in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with the original owner's card & Martin paperwork.
