Description

A magnificent sounding guitar featuring many of the characteristics of Martin's old world dreadnoughts - squared headstock, modified V-shaped neck, scalloped bracing, beveled tortoise pickguard & vintage-style tuners, just to name a few. The solid spruce top combined with mahogany back & sides creates a rich, robust tone that is exceptionally well-balanced. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with some typical mild play wear - various little nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but very nice condition overall. There's a tiny bit of discoloration on the front & back of the headstock from a clip-on tuner being left on too long.

Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vintage-style Butterbean tuners & rosewood headstock overlay. 1 11/16" nut width with bone nut; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Dreadnought body in high-gloss natural finish. Solid Sitka spruce top with ebony bridge. There's an ever so slight gap on the bass-side of the bridge, but it's hardly noticeable & quite firmly attached to the top. Beveled tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides. Tortoise binding on the top & back. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs even.

Case: Original deluxe hardshell case included along with original paperwork. There are a few decals on the outside of the case, which can be removed.
