Maton's 808 series of guitars give players small body guitars with huge sound, and the SRS808 is no exception. The 808 body shape will feel familiar to any parlor-size player, while its unique Western Red Cedar top and Blackwood back and sides give the guitar striking wood figuring in addition to stellar tone. The body's forward shifted "X" bracing only further's the SRS808's stunning projection, while an AP-5 Pro pickup makes sure the guitar is never overpowered when playing out. A Sapele Ring rosette, black outer binding, and tortoiseshell pickguard all contribute to the SRS808's refined look. Additionally, the guitar's ultra-smooth natural satin finish and Indian Rosewood fingerboard over a Queensland maple neck all aid in making the player feel right at home. Like all Matons, this guitar was hand-made in Australia.
