Description
Designed in conjunction with fingerstyle legend Tommy Emmanuel, Maton's EBG808TEC is a superb instrument with an incredible sound and feel. The guitar's cutaway 808C body shape gives it just the right amount of tonal sweetness and projection, making it perfect for fingerpickers, while being easy to handle. Its "AAA Select" Grade Sitka Spruce top ensures crystalline highs and well-defined mids, while Scalloped "X" Bracing and Queensland Maple back and sides tie everything together. The Select Queensland Maple neck is ultra smooth to the touch, making gliding across the Rosewood fingerboard a breeze. The EBG808TEC also features triple pinstripe inner binding, a "C.G.P." 12th fret inlay, and striking tortoiseshell pickguard for a refined, tasteful appearance. Plus, an AP-5 Pro pickup makes sure that you're heard even in the loudest of settings. Like all Matons, this guitar was hand-made in Australia.
