Description
If you've ever wanted Annie Clark's genre-bending tones in a guitar that feels like it was carved to fit every player in the room, this Goldie is it. The lightweight nyatoh body wears the signature angular St. Vincent silhouette, but once it's on a strap the shape practically disappears against you. A roasted-maple neck and rosewood board feel broken-in from the first chord, while three direct-mount gold-foil mini-humbuckers and a 5-way blade dish out everything from glassy funk rhythms to thick, mid-forward leads. Top it off with a vintage-style trem and locking tuners, and you've got stage-ready versatility that won't fight you on the gig, or the wallet.
