Description
Condition: Excellent overall condition! There is not a scratch on the entire instrument. This instrument looks un-played. Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. All parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: “A” style body with maple top, back and sides in a satin sunburst finish. Top and back have some gorgeous flame figuring! Brass tailpiece and cover plate with biscuit style bridge on a 9.5” hand spun resonator cone.
Neck: Soft “V’ shaped flame maple neck with bound Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1.285” nut. Four-on-a-strip Gotoh open-gear tuners with ebanoid buttons, 14” scale length.
Playability/Sound: This is a gorgeous instrument both in looks and sound. The resonator adds a beautiful sound to the mandolin along with plenty of volume and attack. The maple body provides plenty of high end shimmer without sacrificing warmth. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
