Description
Hand made in Minnesota, the Coquette features a neck-thru body design with a maple neck & body wings. The fingerboard is radiused to a comfortable 9.5" & is carefully fitted with medium-jumbo frets, highly polished to provide a fast playing response. The Coquette comes standard with a pair of Nelson "Dynamo" pickups. These pickups have been specially designed to produce a fully balanced sound with rich, tight bass & clear, pronounced treble. The pickups are wax potted so undesirable microphonics are eliminated. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various tiny nicks & dings along with surface scratches, but great shape overall.
Neck: V-shaped maple neck with 9.5" radius fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Nelson headstock badge & Gotoh open-gear tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple "tulip" wings finished in red. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & gold plastic pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.2 oz.
Electronics: Nelson "Dynamo" hi-fi single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with hexagon knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
