What makes this guitar special? This Trump Tonemaster Gold Edition custom build has a ton of features that provide it not only great playability, but a refined look to boot. The Seymour Duncan SH-4 and SH-2n are a beautiful combination of pickups that are full of rich chime and warmth, but with the addition of the coil-tap (neck) mini toggle, have that much more tonal range. The flame maple top and amber/red burst finish give this guitar an outstanding look with a good amount of movement, while the gold hardware adds a touch of flash, especially against the ebony fretboard and mahogany body. With the setup our techs have given it, this guitar sounds and plays as great as it looks.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does have a few light scratches and a ding or two throughout the body, as well as a few spots where it may have been touched up, but largely remains very clean and still looks fantastic. The frets show very little, if any, wear and still have a lifetime left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Chambered mahogany body with flame maple top. Back finished in Vintage Amber Tint, top in Custom Amber/Red Burst. String-thru gold plate bridge with graphtech saddles. Gold top hats and switches. Gold “Custom” neck plate. Custom-cut ornate sticker design placed behind bridge.
Neck: C shape WD maple neck with 12” radius ebony fingerboard. 22 medium jumbo nickel silver frets. 1 5/8” hand cut bone nut. Gold Gotoh tuning machines.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan SH-2n in the neck and Seymour Duncan SH-4 in the bridge. 3-way pickup switch and neck coil-tap mini toggle switch. Bourns 500k volume pot, CTS 500k tone pot, all silver bearing solder, CRL .05mf tone cap, silver/mica and resistor tone taper circuit, vintage correct 22ga cloth covered wire, star grounded.

Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding and versatile guitar. The Duncan pickups are a fantastic combination and have a nice, warm, and clean response across the board, and with the addition of the coil-tap switch, add even more dimension. The neck is comfortable and due to its shape will be familiar to a variety of players.
