Description
Basically the same as a model 360, but with the addition of a middle pickup. This gorgeous example shows off some nice bird's eye figuring in the back of the body as well as some light flame figuring in the back of the neck & has a lovely, natural acoustic resonance to it. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's in terrific playing condition. The Hi-Gain single coils sound magnificent & deliver those signature Ric tones upon command. This one's a real winner!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being nearly 30 years old with only minimal play wear - a few tiny nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. There are a couple of deeper finish checking/cracking lines in the back of the headstock between the bass-side tuners, but this purely cosmetic & not structural. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple & walnut neck with aged cream binding & black side-dots. There's actually a nice bit of flame figuring in the back of the neck. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearloid "shark tooth" inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Schaller tuners are stamped Made in W. Germany. There's some light flame figuring in the front of the headstock as well & the truss rod cover has also aged into more of cream color like the binding. 1.63" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods function fine.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with back binding & bound slash hole. "R" tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level white plexi pickguard still has the Made in USA sticker on it. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 13.1 oz.
Electronics: Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single coils. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend. 3-way toggle switch with mono & stereo outputs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original warrant card & other accessories.
