Description
This stunning 24-fret 5-String bass features a two-octave neck to offer greater range on the upper register as well as the lower. The neck width tapers from 1 7/8" at the nut to 3" at the 24th fret. The two Sadowsky soapbar pickups are located to provide a tight, punchy sound & to allow adequate room for slap style playing. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with some mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Open-gear tuners work perfectly. Holes for the string retainer are evident on the back of the headstock. 1 7/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body with gorgeous quilted maple top finished in Cherry Burst. Top-loading bridge with five adjustable "barrel" saddles & black hardware. Bass weighs 8 lbs 2.6 oz.
Electronics: Two Sadowsky Soapbars with active electronics. Volume, Pickup Pan, Vintage Tone (with push/pull) Bass/Treble Boost (stacked). All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original semi-hardshell case included.
