Made from around '98 until '09, the Tacoma Thunderchief was one of the hottest acoustic basses on the market. Made in USA, this gorgeous beast features a solid spruce top with offset soundhole. Solid mahogany back with laminated mahogany sides. The bolt-on mahogany neck is super comfy & plays like a champ anywhere on the fretboard. The LR Baggs preamp ensures you're stage-ready, but even unplugged this baby is loud!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, showing signs of typical light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings along with scratches.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Tacoma tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge. Offset soundhole & clear pickguard. Solid mahogany back & laminated mahogany sides. 18" lower bout with 5" depth. Bass weighs 5 lbs 15.3 oz.
Electronics: LR Baggs preamp in good working condition.
Case: Tacoma gig bag included.
